Please read these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy(collectively, the "Terms") carefully before you start using the Application. When you start using the Application or click to agree to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you conclude an agreement on use of the Application with Us (the "Agreement") which includes the Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, you must not access or use the Application.
As a consumer, make sure to read these important provisions: Section 4.5 (Immediate provision of services), Section 4.6 (Automatic Renewal), Section 5.2 (Your Content), Section 11.3 (Change of Terms), and Section 8 (Warranty claims).

"We", "Us" and "Our" refer to AnkiLingua, the provider of the language learning application and related services.
"You" and "your" refer to you as a user of the AnkiLingua application available on Google Play and App Store or accessible through our website.
"Authorized Users" are you and, if you purchase a family or shared subscription plan, persons authorized by you to access the Application under your subscription.
"Store Operators" are Google LLC operating Google Play and Apple Inc. operating the App Store.
"Third-Party Materials" are materials, content, services, or software that are not ours, including open-source libraries and external language resources.
To use the Application (unless you access it as a guest with limited functions), you need to:
Once you create an account in the mobile application, you may access the web version through our website using the same login credentials.
The basic version of AnkiLingua is provided free of charge with core flashcard functionality.
Premium features require a paid subscription. Current pricing, feature scope, subscription duration, and authorized user limits are displayed in the Application. Subscription prices include applicable taxes.
You may purchase subscriptions through the Application. By selecting a subscription, you agree to electronic communication and warrant that your contact information is accurate. Purchasing a subscription creates a payment obligation.
Payments are processed through the respective Store Operator's payment system, subject to their terms and conditions.
By purchasing premium features, you expressly request immediate access before the withdrawal period expires. We will provide premium functionality immediately upon payment confirmation.
Subscriptions automatically renew using your registered payment method. If payment fails, premium features will be deactivated.
You may cancel your subscription anytime before the current period ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Application for personal language learning purposes.
You grant us a license to use, modify, and display content you create (flashcard sets, study materials, etc.) to provide and improve our services. You may only upload educational and language learning-related content.
You may not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates these Terms. Prohibited content includes:

You may not use the Application except as expressly permitted. Prohibited activities include:

Maintain current app versions for proper functionality
Only upload content you have rights to share
Protect your account credentials from unauthorized use
Take responsibility for all activities under your account
Free features are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. We make best efforts for proper functioning but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
For paid premium features, you may exercise consumer rights regarding defective performance within applicable warranty periods. Contact us for warranty claims.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
This Agreement begins when you start using the Application and continues until terminated according to these Terms.
As a consumer, you may withdraw from premium services within 14 days of purchase, except for services you've requested immediate access to.
You may terminate this Agreement by deleting your account or ceasing to use the Application.
We may terminate your access for non-payment, Terms violations, or other material breaches with appropriate notice.
These Terms govern your relationship with us, not with Store Operators (Apple, Google). We are responsible for the Application and support services.
You may use the Application on devices you own or control, subject to Store Operator terms.
Store Operators are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice through the Application or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance unless you terminate your account.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania without regard to conflict of law principles.
These Terms of Use are effective as of June 3, 2025.
